What are the common surface treatment processes?

1. Spraying: Protect the surface by spraying paint or powder coating to prevent corrosion, provide a durable coating, and change multiple colors according to needs. Commonly used in steel structure supports, such as elevator installation connection plates, guide shoe shells, angle steel brackets, mechanical equipment housings, etc.

2. Electroplating: Common ones are galvanizing, chrome plating and nickel plating, especially suitable for metal brackets, such as carbon steel bending brackets, angle steel support brackets, etc. The characteristics of galvanizing are effective rust prevention, while the characteristics of chrome plating and nickel plating are increased surface gloss and wear resistance.

3. Anodizing: This method is more commonly used for aluminum alloy brackets. It generates an oxide layer on the aluminum surface through electrochemical treatment, enhances the antioxidant and wear resistance of aluminum products, and can be dyed.

4. Electrophoretic coating: Especially suitable for brackets with complex shapes, electrophoretic technology allows the paint to be evenly covered on the metal surface, including every corner that general industry cannot reach. The advantage of electrophoresis is its excellent rust prevention and wear resistance.

5. Phosphate treatment: mainly used for pretreatment before painting, especially for steel brackets, which lays a better foundation for subsequent painting or spraying, increases the adhesion of the coating and provides basic anti-rust function.

The selection of these treatment methods depends on factors such as materials, use environment, cost and customer needs.
