Metal bending process is the process of plastically deforming metal sheets along a predetermined straight line or curve through mechanical force to finally obtain the desired shape. This technology is widely used in the metal manufacturing industry, especially in sheet metal processing. Common metal bending methods include V-shaped bending, U-shaped bending and Z-shaped bending.

Core steps of bending process

1. Material preparation
To make sure the material thickness satisfies the bending requirements, choose appropriate metal sheets, such as carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.

2. Mold selection
